Who this roof is right for
It is a genuinely good choice on outbuildings, barns, porches, additions, and on any house where the budget rules out standing seam but you still want metal over shingles. On a Florida cracker or a farmhouse, 5V crimp is also simply the historically correct look.
What you are signing up for
Plan on having the fasteners inspected every three to five years. Washers that have hardened get backed out and replaced. It is a modest maintenance item, but it is real, and a contractor who does not mention it is not being straight with you.
